General info

An art museum with some of the art that Friedensreich Hundertwasser has created. It’s located next to Kuchlbauer’s World of Beer in Abensberg. The museum honours Friedensreich Hundertwasser with a wide-ranging exhibit including some graphic works and selected architectural projects.

KunstHausAbensberg was built between 2011 and 2014 after plans designed by Peter Pelikan. The Viennese architect worked with Friedensreich Hundertwasser throughout his career and they completed numerous construction projects together.

I did not visit the inside this time, will do it on an other trip. I just bought a six pack of the Kuchlbauer Weissbierbrauerei’s beers in the shop. You have to check out the toilets in there!

Architect(s)

Peter Pelikan from Vienna that worked together with Friedensreich Hundertwasser on many of his buildings. You can clearly see who was the inspiration!
